Who doesn’t love a good pamper sesh?! As a mama of two, I hardly have time for relaxation, but when I do I’m all about face masks and bubble baths (with a little moscato and Real Housewives thrown in). If you’re looking for an at-home spa experience, The Body Shop has got you covered. Last year they launched five incredible masks that are designed to target a ton of different needs. From hydration to exfoliation, there’s a mask for everyone!
Each mask retails for $28, and contains 3 fl oz worth of product. They are housed in sturdy glass jars, with dark tint, to preserve the precious ingredients inside. Most of the masks are gel based, so they can get a bit messy, but we’ll get into that later!
NOURISH & HYDRATE
The 100% Vegan British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask is formualted for those who are in need of hydration. It’s designed to quench the skin, while plumping, thanks to its nourishing blend of aloe vera, rose petals, and rose essence. It has a thin gel like texture, and promises to leave skin looking smooth and full of hydration. If you’re a fan of rose, then you must try this. The scent is beautiful!
Just like the name suggest, this mask looks and feels like honey, minus the intense stickiness. It’s formualted to nourish and hydrate, while also replenishing and comforting the skin. It’s unique formula actually contains honey, plus marula oil and organic olive oil from Italy. It has a thick gel-like texture, and promises to leave skin feeling hydrated and comforted. If you need to add some moisture to your skin, this ones for you.
PURIFY & CLARIFY
Charcoal seems to be all the rage lately. I’ve seen so many masks, cleansers, and treatments containing this powerful cleanser, and for good reason. It helps pull impurities, dirt, and makeup to the surface, resulting in clearer skin with less acne. This mask looks and feels like mud, but it also contains tiny exfoliators to help slough off dead skin. It’s a great choice for those wanting to unclog pores, and reveal clearer skin.
CHINESE GINSENG & RICE
This creamy mask is designed to brighten, as well as clarify. The powerful formula contains ginger, to tone, brighten, and remove dullness. As well as moisturizing rice extract, and skin softening sesame seed oil. The texture is thick, and the scent is herbal (like a spa product).
Lastly, is the energizing radiance mask! This baby contains rich antioxidants and vitamins, to exfoliate, energize, and combat the look of tired skin. It’s another gel mask, with the look and feel of strawberry jam. Despite the mess factor, it promises to change skins texture, so it looks more refined and healthy.
