If you’re a hair care junkie like myself, then you know it’s quite rare to stumble across a product line that meets all your requirements. Usually, a product is great, but too pricey, or it’s pricey and doesn’t deliver amazing results. Today, I’m here to talk about the new Greek Yogurt collection from Hask. Their dual shampoo and conditioner have seriously impressed me, and best of all, it’s super affordable!
The Greek Yogurt collection is available exclusively at Walgreens, and comes in three formulas to fit your needs. You can choose from Fig & Honey for hydration, Bluebery & Acai for damage repair, and Pomegranate & Cranberry for color protection. Each duo blends together greek yogurt, with fruit extracts, to deliver healthy looking locks.
BLUEBERRY & ACAI
It’s been a year since I’ve pampered my hair, or even got a trim (I know, I’m making an appointment ASAP), so needless to say my strands are in dire need of some TLC. When I was given the chance to try the repairing Blueberry & Acai formula, I quite literally jumped for joy. The antioxidants from the blueberries, vitamins from the acai, and protein from the greek yogurt, makes for an amazing combo!
Like the product suggests, this is actually a dual chamber system. When you squeeze the bottle, you’ll see two colors emerge, a purple liquid and white cream. They easily blend together, gliding through hair with ease. The shampoo gently lathers, and washes away without leaving behind any residue. It doesn’t overly cleanse, or strip hair, but still leaves it feeling fresh and throughly cleansed. Plus, the greek yogurt makes for a wonderfully thick, yet easy to apply texture.
The conditioner is equally as impressive, and features the same great dual formula that instantly leaves hair feeling hydrated and soft. Despite the fruity ingredients, the scent is rather subtle, and extremely nose friendly. For someone like me, who prefers yummy smelling hair products, this definitely fits the bill. But, since it’s not intense or strong, even those with scent sensitivities will enjoy it.
Aside from my hair needing extra damage control, it’s also really fine in texture, so I usually have a hard time with conditioners. The ones that are intensely hydrating, are too heavy, while the lighter ones aren’t hydrating enough. I’m not sure how Hask did it, but this conditioner strikes the perfect balance between nourishing and light. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, or feel greasy, but it still adds moisture and instantly detangles. I’m obsessed!
There are two things I really love about this little packet, the first is that it’s incredibly easy to open. If you’ve ever tried to tear into a hair care pouch, you know they are often insanely difficult to open. This one has a perforation that truly works, thank goodness! The second, is this also features a dual formula delivery system, from a packet, so cool!
While this isn’t the most intense deep conditioner I’ve tried, I really like how it performs in my hair. It features the same great texture as the shampoo and conditioner (thick but easy to apply), and it smells just as heavenly. You’re instructed to leave it on for up to 5 minutes, though I found my hair felt great after only 2-3 minutes. It detangles, adds moisture, and washes out without any fuss. Storing a packet in the shower is a little tedious, but for someone with my hair length, this will only last a few washings anyway.
The incredible formula, delicious scent, and under $10 price point makes this one of the best hair care lines I’ve tried in a very long time! I also really like the dual chamber delivery system, it’s so unique and not something I have experienced before. I highly suggest it to all!
This collection is free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, and alcohol.
