Urban Decay has done it again! Their very first Naked palette started a frenzy six years ago, and since then there have been a ton of spin offs. The latest to hit stores, is the all new Naked Heat Palette. This baby is jam packed with warm shades, making it perfect for fall. Also included in this collection, are lipsticks and eyeliners. I’ve got them all swatched for you, so keep on reading to see some gorgeous warm tones!
NAKED HEAT PALETTE
Retailing for $54 (12 x 0.05 oz), this gorgeous palette contains 12 shadows in three finishes – matte, metallic, and shimmer. The plastic packaging is thick, sturdy, and travel friendly. It’s a bit thicker than I would have imagined, but it’s still easy to store. Inside the palette, is a double ended eyeshadow brush, and a large mirror. Does anyone remember when palettes came with little eyeshadow primers? I miss those days!
True to their other palettes, the formula of these shadows are creamy, smooth, and super pigmented. They were a joy to swatch, and perform just as well on the eyes. The lighter mattes are a bit more sheer (as expected), but the dark metallics are incredible! Upon application, I had zero issues with fallout, and although the shadows are creamy they aren’t powdery or messy to work with.
NAKED HEAT 24/7 GLIDE-ON EYE PENCILS
As mentioned above, this collection features two new eyeliners ($17 – 0.04 oz) that pair perfectly with the palette. The formula of the 24/7 liners is one of my all time favs. I own about twenty, and love them all because they last all day, and feature the creamiest texture!
Each pencil glides onto the lids without tugging, and has amazing pigmentation. I don’t suffer from watery eyes, so on me these don’t smudge or crease, but if you’re prone to allergies they *might* travel on you. They wear beautifully on the upper lash line, as well as the waterline!
NAKED HEAT VICE LIPSTICKS
The final part of the collection are three lipsticks ($20 – 0.04 oz). Again, these shades are warm, fiery, and perfect for fall looks. The formula is easy to apply, creamy on the lips, and the pigmentation is fully opaque. Of course, I gravitate toward Fuel – the peachy nude. The other two, Heat and Scorched, are metallic finishes and great for vampy or nighttime looks.
There you have it! The entire Naked Heat Collection, is all it’s warm toned glory 😉 See anything you want to try? I’d love to know!
