GET THE LOOK
For this look, I finally got to try the elusive Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. My girl steff, from Brighter Darling, was kind enough to send me a sample and I totally understand the hype now! The formula is full coverage, easy to blend, and wore nicely without breaking down or fading. To conceal my under eyes, I reached for my Urban Decay Naked Concealer, then set my nose and chin with the Kat Von D translucent powder.
I love to pair this palette with the MAC Paint Pot in Vintage Selection. It wears beautifully under the shimmer shades! After applying it all over the lids, I placed Grandstand over top, used Rapunzel to blend, and then added a bit of Buffed above my crease as a transition. To darken the look, I applied Dark Roast in the crease, and finished up with Cabin Fever in the outer corner.
Next, I lined up upper lash line with a black liquid liner from Sephora, then lined my bottom lash line with Urban Decay Alkaline. After applying mascara to the top and bottom lashes, I applied a pair of falsies from Luxy Lash in the style Queen of Everything. They are fluffy, super dramatic, and a favorite style of mine!
The cheeks are easy and simple today. To add a summery warmth, I used the Makeup Geek bronzer on my cheeks, nose, and forehead. This baby is stunning, and not at all orange or muddy! To add a little color to the apples of my cheeks, I used a neutral Tarte blush, then highlighted with Daybreak from Makeup Geek.
It looks like I’m not wearing any lipstick, because it’s the most amazing YLBB shade – aka your lips but better, for those not sure of the lingo 😉 First, I prepped my lips and added some hydration with a Fresh lip Treatment in Gilt, then added MAC Hug Me. It’s easy to wear, creamy, and adds just a hint of natural color. It’s one of those, apply as you’re driving, no mirror needed shades. I’m obsessed!
